The Smeg 50’s Style SMF05 Full Color Stand Mixer in Pink combines the unmistakable retro-inspired Smeg aesthetic with a more powerful 1000 W motor and an expanded accessory set. As part of the Full Color series, both the upper housing and substantial base are finished in the same pink shade, creating a seamless monochromatic appearance complemented by polished chrome detailing.

The mixer features a robust die-cast aluminium body and base, giving it the stability required for intensive mixing and kneading. The 4.8-litre stainless-steel bowl with ergonomic handle provides enough capacity for everyday preparations as well as substantial batches, including up to 2.1 kg of bread or pizza dough.

A 1000 W direct-drive motor works together with Smeg’s professional planetary mixing action to deliver efficient power directly to the attachment. The Steady-Mix system helps minimise vibration during operation, keeping the mixer stable even when working with heavier mixtures.

With 10 electronically controlled speed settings, the SMF05 adapts to everything from gentle mixing to intensive whipping and kneading. The integrated Smooth Start function gradually increases the speed when the machine is switched on, helping prevent flour and liquids from splashing out of the bowl.

The tilt-head mechanism is operated with a convenient button and incorporates a spring-assisted system for easier lifting and lowering. For additional safety, attachment movement is automatically stopped when the head is raised, while integrated motor overload protection safeguards the machine during demanding preparation.

The 4.8-litre stainless-steel bowl accommodates up to 12 egg whites, 2.8 kg of dessert mixture, 2 kg of prepared cake batter or up to 1 litre of whipping cream. For bread and pizza dough, the mixer can process up to 2.1 kg of total dough, including as much as 1.3 kg of flour.

A particularly useful part of the Full Color configuration is the included Flex Edge beater with flexible silicone edges. It follows the inner surface of the bowl while rotating, continuously collecting softer mixtures from the sides and reducing the need for manual scraping.

The standard accessory set also includes an aluminium dough hook for bread and pizza dough, an aluminium flat beater for cakes and frostings, and a stainless-steel wire whisk for cream, eggs and other aerated mixtures. A splash guard made from Tritan™ Renew helps contain ingredients during mixing.

A front accessory port allows the mixer to work with additional compatible Smeg attachments, including accessories for making pasta, grating, mincing and preparing ice cream. This extends the SMF05 beyond conventional mixing and turns it into a more versatile food-preparation system.

The integrated QR code also provides access to My Smeg Assistant, where users can find product-specific content, video tutorials and practical guides for getting more from the appliance.
